Hello Forum members,
I recently installed BWPOSTMAN in Joomla 3.9.
I needed the program to send e-mails to a mailinglist of customers who can subscribe so they recieve a newsletter twice a year. (URL
www.oudmanschoenen.nl/mailing-nieuwskrant)
I have some problems concerning button-texts, placeholder-texts etc) which I want to translate from English into Dutch (using en-GB as language for the overrides).
I already made a long list of language-overrides, and even edited the "en-GB.com.bwpostman.ini" file directly in a HTML-editor.
In the BwPostman Module > "Settings for the Registration Form" I answered the question "Use the settings of the component" with NO. Should I choose YES here ? What are the consequences of this choice ?
My questions are:
1. The answer of the CAPTCHA-question (placeholder "Result") should be changed to Dutch:"Antwoord". I used the override : COM_BWPOSTMAN_CAPTCHA_LABEL but it has no effect on the page when displayed in the Browser.
2. The Text MANDATORY FIELDS on the registration form should be translated into Dutch. I made an overide for MOD_BWPOSTMANREQUIRED (Mandatory Fields) , but also this is not displayed in the browser.
3. I was able to change the Button-Tekst "Register". When the button is clicked without entering any text I get 5 errors in a window, 4 in Dutch, one is still in English : "Please enter a value in the field postcode. (extra or special field). This can be reproduced by visiting the URL above and click directly on the REGISTREER-button.
4. I would like to translate the button-text EDIT SUBSCRIPTION into Dutch. The values of the language strings COM_BWPOSTMAN_LINK_TO_EDITLINKFORM and MOD_BWPOSTMANLINK_TO_EDITLINKFORM are still shown in English, in spite of the overrides.
I hope someone can show me a way to solve some or maybe all of these problems,
Kind Regards,
Dutchmailman
