I keep getting my newsletters blocked by one internet supplier.
After dialouge i got the following feedback, i hope you can help with some advices.

Several spamfilter rules triggered:

FUZZY_AMBIEN: Attempt to obfuscate words in spam

HTML_FONT_TINY: Font too small to read

MIME_HTML_ONLY: Message only has text/html MIME parts
Indicates the message lacks the plain text alternative part.

HTML_IMAGE_RATIO_04: HTML has a low ratio of text to image area
This may indicate a message using an image instead of words in order to sidestep text-based filtering.


(regarding the first one FUZZY_AMBIEN , I think it's what I already pointed out, that is the use of the base64 encoding )

Sending the message in plain text, or at least with an alternative plain-text part
+ avoid the use of base64 encoding (use UTF-8 encoding instead)
should make the message less suspicious to the spamfilter

thank You for forwarding the newsletter. One thing attracted Karls attention immediately: There are a lot of "oneComWebmail" css class definitions in Your newsletter. Perhaps this is caused by Your webmailer? We can't say, what this causes.

HTML_FONT_TINY: That might be at Your responsibility by setting font size big enough. I think, that concerns the Edit Settings/Unsubscribe part.

HTML_IMAGE_RATIO: That appears also to be at Your responsibility. Write more Text…

Perhaps You want to try the new template created by Karl? It is easier and slimmer. You find it here .

Where can i change the font size concerning the Edit Settings/Unsubscribe part.
There is only options for changing the font colors in the edit footer.

I will test the rest of the suggestions and return with answers.

Hi Sören,

sorry, You are right, the font size is not changeable easily. Therefore You should edit the template in the database…

But I have seen, font size at this point is set to 12px, for my opinion not too small.
