Error in frontend when subscribing a new subscriber was created by Terp
Hi
I have noticed that i get an error when adding a new subsriber from the front end.
When the subscriber selcts the newsletter and presse registrer, the system says error subscription allready exist.
When i press the send activation code buttom, everything Works.
I have tried this for users/mails which has never been used before

Hi Sterp,
are You really sure, the name/mail address is not used? There are really no entries in the archive or unconfirmed list of BwPostman?
That is often the problem: You enter a user, move it to the archive and then enter this user again. BwPostman gives an error, that the name/mail address is already in use when BwPostman finds it in the archive or at the unconfirmed subscribers.
That You get the activation mail may show, that there is really a subscriber with this mail address, because onla then BwPostman is able to send the activation code for this address.
Take a look at archive and the unconfirmed subscribers list, please.

I have tried to delete the subscriber, and to empty the archive, but still the same result.
Are you only checking if the mail adresse is the same ?
I think you also have a check if the first name or Last name are the same.
Example;
User 1: Søren Terp with mail xxx@yyy.dk --> ok
User 2: Søren Terp with mail zzz@yyy.dk --> Fails
Only the mail adresse should be checked in my point

i have just tested your example.
User 1: Søren Terp with mail xxx@yyy.dk --> ok

BwPostman checks, if the required Fields are not empty and the email address is valide and unique.
