SMTP settings for sending
SMTP settings for sending was created by raunhar
Where can we define mail sending server options (like sendmail/ php or smtp).
I require SMTP server settings, as the newsletter will be sent using a different domain id.

Hi raunhar,
welcome to BwPostman forum.
Settings for mail sending you find in back end at System -> Global Configuration -> Server, right hand at Mail Settings.

Hi raunhar,
BwPostman uses Joomla functions to send the newsletters and other mails. That means, if Joomla is able to send mails, then BwPostman is able to send mails. Did You try to send mails from Joomla (account confirmation, mass mail users, contact form, …)? What is the result? The mail address You want to send to is valid?

If I send a Test mail from BwPost, then it goes to inbox. But when I send it to a list, it goes to the Spam folder of the user.
The test mail id and one of the id in the list is same.
Same email, if sent as test goes to inbox, but when sent as a list, goes to Spam.

Hi raunhar,
I don't understand, what You want so say. It is not the area of responsibility of BwPostman, how Your mail client sorts the incoming mails! Or perhaps it is your provider. Sender name/mail address and subject is in Your responsibility, also the rules, with which the mail client sorts the mails to spam.
