[SOLVED] Email Limit

    Hallo Romana,
    habe über Tage versucht meinen Newsletter raus zu bekommen bis ich in meiner Verzweiflung meinen Hoster angeschrieben habe. Nun weiß ich, dass ich da limitiert bin, sieh screenshot anbei.

    Habe nun joomla auf SMTP umgestellt und in der BW Konfiguration die Paketgröße auf 49, Zeitverzögerung beim Senden auf 3 Minuten. So sollts mit meinen aktuellen 143 Abonennten klappen.
    Denke mir, dass es anderen ähnlich geht wie mir, vl macht es Sinn in der nächsten Version die Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten diffiziler zu gestalten, wobei dann die Übersichtlichkeit auf der Strecke bleibt?

    was verstehst du denn unter "diffiziler"?
    Was sollte man denn alles einstellen können?

    Beim Mailversand wird eine PHP-Schleife durchlaufen, die begrenzt werden kann.
    Desweiteren kann ein "Timeout" (eine Wartezeit) gesetzt werden.
    Diese beiden Werte können in den Optionen gesetzt werden.

    Ich stelle mal Überlegungen zu deinen Werten (Abos: 143, Paketgröße 49, Verzögerung 3 min) an:
    1. Paket (Mails: 49, Zeit: 0 min)
    2. Paket (Mails: 98, Zeit: 3 min)
    3. Paket (Mails: 143, Zeit: 6 min)
    Nach meiner Rechnung überschreitet Paket 2 das Limit von 50 in 5 Minuten, genauso wie das Limit 80 in einer Stunde.

    Ich würde bei deinen Hostervorgaben auf SMTP, Paketgröße maximal 99 und Verzögerung von 6 Minuten umstellen.

    ich kann Karl nur zustimmen! Was sollte ich denn noch einstellbar machen? Mehr als das geht doch nicht, alles andere ist außerhalb der Reichweite von BwPostman.
